As you may already be fully aware, the crew at Trout Fishing Adventures has a focused tenacity and tendency to fish for trout anywhere that distance, time, and funds will allow. Most trips involve backpacking into near-remote destinations in the hopes of hooking trout that have yet to see an artificial fly tied by the hands of a human. While our passion for hiking and backpacking has essentially gone unchanged, the amount of abuse that our bodies are capable of handling and recovering from has waned slightly. The ultimate goal of providing you, the readership and web visitor of Infinity Rod Creations, narratives that will allow you to escape with us and mentally experience the trips we have lived has gone unchanged. In fact, we feel the utilitarian nature of this camper will permit the crew to make camp quicker, get on the water faster, and consequently put pencil to paper and document more of our trips for your enjoyment.
In July, IRC decided to embark on a quest (with some reluctance) to locate a late model, well kept and properly maintained popup. And, as fate always seems to have it, this little gem fell into our possession. This Coleman Columbia is in excellent condition (in and out). We have the previous owners, the original owners, to thank for the TLC they bestowed on it. They specified that it continue to be used for family and friend oriented adventures and to be looked after with the same care that they had for it.
Other than a few modifications (solar panel, battery box, upgrade to a power converter/3-stage charging system, and 12volt water pump) this beauty is ready to take the crew to new destinations and experience adventures with a new set of owners.
We are truly blessed to have the stumbled across the opportunity to own this pop-up camper and plan to use it to the benefit of our readership. Our excitement is out of a passion to share the love of the sport of angling with you.
My hopes, our hopes, are that you'll be able to escape with us and enjoy the adventures as much as we have. And, maybe one of our excursions will be the inspiration for you to take one of your own someday.
